I liked this dim sum restaurant far more than the other dim sum restaurants around town like Fisherman's Terrace.  It wasn't crowded when we arrive and it was very spacious.  In the past, we've dined at Fisherman's and the wait staff kind of rushes you out after you eat because they have a line out the door of people waiting to be seated.  Since we were traveling with little kids, it was really nice that we could relax and not feel rushed.

The dim sum portions are really big.  I think we over ordered because we didn't account how big each ha gao and shou mi were.  They were gigantic.  Most of the dim sum was delicious.  I think my favorite was the pineapple bun and the short ribs.  I thought the ha gao was over steamed, unfortunately.  The shell was broken and the shrimped was a little tough and not bouncy.  There was plenty of parking when we arrived.  I would definitely come back.

I came here quite a number of times out of convenience and they used to be pretty good in terms of value and food quality. Recently I went and everything has gone downhill:

    - Service is really rude or lacking. They snapped at us when we asked for a larger table suited for three people because at first they mistakenly heard a table for two. You also really have to tell them if you want any service like a refill on tea or would like to order.
    - The first dish that came out was warm on the outside but when you got towards the centre it was actually stone cold.
    - I've also been here a couple of times so I can definitely tell they lowered their quality of food. Things that used to be real shrimp are replaced by "seafood paste"
    - When I went to pay the bill, I took out my credit card (I've always paid by card in all the times I have been there) the lady said they wanted cash even though there was never such a rule or a sign that warns customers that it was cash only. When I said I didn't have cash, she asked for debit only and rudely said "just this once".

Save yourself the disappointment, eat somewhere else. I personally won't be back.

Haven't been here for at least a few years, good to see that its still open and offering Dim Sum for their lunch service.
Items are mostly regular fare as you will find in most dim sum places, no surprise.

All the items are steaming hot when they arrive at your table, out of all the dishes I ordered, the best is the Steamed Chicken Feet; the flavouring is just right not salty and greasy as some of the other places.
The other item that worth mentioning is the Clay Pot Rice with Chicken, Mushrooms and Vegetables. The rice is done perfectly with each grain separated from another, the chicken pieces are also very tender and juicy.
    Food overall: 3/5

One other thing worth mentioning; the Manager is particularly nice, he came over to check with us regarding the ordered items and took the initiative to let us know that the Clay Pot Rice will take a bit longer and he made sure that we are not waiting for it for too long!
Very nice touch and also chat with us to make us feel welcomed!
    Service: 4/5

Very good alternative dim sum place in that neighbourhood!

My experience at this restaurant started off well ... until this dish showed up on my table. This dish I ordered is the scallop shrimp dumpling. These are the problems I had with this dish:

    1) the dumpling wrapper was ripped open and everything had spilled out
    2) the scallop which was supposed to be on top, had slid off and was touching the steamer
    3) when I spoke to the waitress and manager, he said " it happens when the server shakes the steamer around and that's just how it is". They did not offer to take the dish back and just walked away.

Extremely disappointed with the service and the quality of the food.

Excelent dim-sum restaurant!!! Service was perfect and very friendly. Huge variety of dishes and very affordable. We had chicken, fish, meat balls, a lot of vegetables, spring rolls, and many more!!! Very satisfying and exotic delicious flavours!!!
